A.M. Routine: 8:30-9:00 Get Dressed, Pack Bag, Check Bike, Leave House

My must-haves before I leave the house: keys, gum, wallet, charged i pod, file folder, camera, phone, sunglasses, lip balm, tissues, sharpies, and a notepad. I check my tires before I leave- nothing worse than tire problems. There was 1 month I had 4 flat tires-ugh! I felt bad for my boyfriend. That's it for my morning routine and no matter how thorough it is, I am still going to be 10 minutes late for work. Pee Wee Letterpress by Michael Scarano

A.M. Routine: 5:30-6:30 Computer

I give myself 1 hour in the morning to be on the computer. It gives me time to drink my java, check for business prospects, and be inspired. I receive about 30 emails a day. I look for great ideas, helpful tips, quotes, fashion, and decor. I sign up and unsubscribe to websites and blogs regularly- it breaks up the routine. My top 5 sites: 1. My Favorite and My Best 2. Apartment Therapy 3. Etsy 4. Remodelista 5. Design*Sponge

A.M. Routine: 6:30-7:30 Make Bed, Pick-Up, Find an Outfit, Small Project, Take a Picture

After I jump off the computer I am a bit wired from caffeine and inspiration. I do some morning chores- very simple projects like watering the plants, making the bed, put my clothes away, and figuring out what to wear. I put take-a-picture on my list because I never used to grab my camera and take photos- I am more frequent now. I capture the moment instead of saying that I should.

Ease the Outfit Hunt

Being organized is the only way to make getting dressed with flair possible. You need to see your options. I decided to put a shelf in the closet for pants and sweaters and put boots on the top rack. No more piles of clothing tossed on the top!

I use a tie rack to hang my sunglasses.

Jewelry Organization Ideas

These are some ways that I organize my jewelry. I like everything to be in full view. If it is hidden away in a jewelry box, you are more likely to forget about them. Pretty dishes and wall hooks are great to use. I made a earring rack with a picture stand and a wire screen. Mug racks work well for bracelets and hoop earrings- don't hang anything with elastic because it stretches and destroys the band. I lost many favorites that way.
