Foam Core Light Box Made
Happy First Day of Spring!
My Speedy Plant Growing Center
After making 162 paper pots, I put 2 plant fluorescent lights under my plant table( I tried using velcro but that didn't last so I pulled twine through the table planks and tied it to a chopping stick above- Genius!) I filled the pots with 15 different vegetables, herbs, and flowers and then covered with a plastic film poked with holes until plants sprout. They need 12 hours of light. I put them under the table at night and then put them in the front window during the days: they get approximately 20 hours of light. I make sure they get enough water- paper pot is damp but not soaked. Let's Grow!

Subtle Marketing
I am not a fan of in-your-face advertising- people that have to plaster their business name on everything. The only person that likes that is the owner of the business. I put a couple of business cards in back of each case- 1 for you and 1 to pass on. I just went to a concert and didn't want to bring my wallet so I stuck my ID and credit card in the back of the case- very compact! I think these travel tissue cases give you a peek at what my organizing services can offer you: visually pleasing, streamlined, functional, and here to help in your time of need. A business opportunity every time someone sneezes- bring on the allergy/flu seasons!

6. I pulled out the computer paper to cut so the back flap would be transparent. Better viewing of my business card- this step is not necessary. 7. Insert decorative paper strips 8. Tape the sides and the back to make a pocket 9. Fill with tissues- I put 5 in and refill as needed 10. Done! No more old-lady-crumpled-up-kleenex-in-your-pockets for you!

cheap in the form of a lightbox
I made a light box for my photo taking needs. This is super cheap- cardboard box, tissue paper, and packing tape. I've already put my finger through the tissue paper on all sides. I want to make a box out of foam core at some point. This is a photo of travel tissue cases I made out of a file sheet, a piece of computer paper, and some decorative paper. Super easy to make and I put my business card on the back side to do some marketing. I will show you how to make soon!

Be Good
AM Routine: 5:00-5:30 Brew Coffee, Make Lunch, Check Weather
When I get up in the morning I go down to the kitchen, turn on the TV to check the weather. That will determine if I am going to ride my bike or walk to work. Then I turn on the already-set-up-to-brew-in-the-am espresso maker- I like to fill it up after I make one so it is always ready. Then I make my lunch- usually a salad, fruit, and yogart. I used to spend $40 on starbuck's coffee and $30 on lunches during the 5 day work week. Now I spend $40 for a week on groceries. That's $6 a day for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and lattes for 7 days. It is tight but doable. Stock up on espresso beans when they are on sale and freeze what you can for a rainy day.
