 I just picked up my books from the library about living with less and I can't stop the urge to go thrifting. How can you say no to 50% off Saturdays at ARC? It is all about self control- don't buy a lot of garbage. I buy mostly clothes because I get bored with clothing so easily. I just rotate them out.

  I don't know if I would want to tear apart that Handyman book- it looks interesting but I would love to make a cookbook file to put all the recipes I find in magazines. I could separate them into categories- chicken, soups, salads, sandwiches, pork, sides, etc. Vintage cookbooks are everywhere- so easy to find at thrift stores and estate sales.

  Brick House, Modernhaus, and Terri Planty held a pop-up sale (garage sale without all the crap). This is a dream sale- so much good stuff!

  This looks familiar. Fiendish Pickers- do you really have to run? The same crowds go to estate sales-  people with no manners who will haggle the price on everything.

 I have a stack of books on hold at the library about living with less stuff. I just cut my living space in half and now I feel like everything is right there in my face instead of spread out. I have done my best not to hold onto anything I don't need or love- my storage areas are works of art. It is so much easier getting dressed with all of my clothes in one closet.

 It's time to update the bicycle with better toys. I need a new rear rack. Went on adelineadeline.com and found some goodies.

I wanted to find a new rear bike rack and found this non-sporty bike shop, Adeline Adeline. They partnered up with Kate Spade- it so has that feel when you look at their website. Nice video- cupcakes, puppies, champagne, and flowers. Who are these people? Get a job!

 The rain has been brutal the last few days. Cold blowing rain not good for travel by bicycle. Do they make waterproof gloves for riding in the rain? They must. I was about to take off my socks and put them on my hands yesterday- it was that bad.

173 emails

 I have been so involved in unpacking that I am up to 173 emails to read.  I read a post that mentioned having a distraction pad. When you are doing a project and see other things that need to be done, you can write them down instead of having several unfinished tasks started. I need to do that- I feel like a pinball machine, bouncing from project to project.

Still not completely packed and moving tomorrow. What an ordeal. I was trying to clean everything during the process- the walls need a major paint job, but the rest of the place looks good.
