The Last Furniture Purchase?

The last piece of furniture I bought for Brendans' place is this bar stool. It is the perfect height and I love the faux wood back to it. Now I can watch while he cooks.

My schedule this week is packed to the point that I double booked on Saturday. I am now carrying a daily planner to tell me where to be at what time. Being prepared is half the battle.

 I recently got this tray at an estate sale. I use it for a cleaning supply tray for my downstairs bathroom- I now only have eco-friendly cleaning sets in my house. With all these sales I've been working, I have been gathering new items. I do the gather and ween often- gather new items and donating the excess. I surround myself with my favorite things and get rid of the rest- I get better with age.

Attacking the List

 I am making progress on Brendans' to-do list ( MY list for him):

 Glued the loose table leg,

 Started to make a tool drawer,

My eco-friendly cleaning caddy. Got rid of all his chemical cleaning products.

I made a condiment tray. This wasn't on the list but it will come in handy to eat on the balcony- it is so windy that nothing stays upright out there.

Brendan needed bedside tables- someone suggested these bar stools at one of the estate sales I worked. They work well and have clean lines.

Estate of the Heart

My boyfriend went to New York for 5 days to see a show and to visit family and friends. While he was gone, I was determined to finish the to-do list I made when he moved in 2 months ago. I worked 2 estate sales while he was gone and got paid with great stuff. One thing I got was the patio table- the view is the main reason he moved into this space.

 I finally emptied the boxes behind the couch and hung a few things- that feels good!

I also got a metal bookcase for all his do dads. I set up that shelf and moved it 3 times. That is the best spot in front of the window- looks great with the morning light.

 This was the temporary bookcase with cardboard boxes- bye bye!!

This was July 4th. It rained all night- hard. I was hoping to hang out on the balcony at the new patio table and watch fireworks but it was cold, blowing rain. No rain, no rainbow.
