I haven't been in the blog posting mood lately. Too busy with packing. I am a moving master if I say so myself. Nothing is coming with me that I don't need. I move on Tuesday and have a donation pick up on Wednesday.

 This carriage house is heaven! It is designed by David Tryba and is only 475 square feet! It does have a nice sized deck and a small garage but it is $200 more than I want to spend. I guess I could pick up more clients- ugh!

350 square feet

 I am trying to prepare myself for living in a smaller place. Right now I am in a 3 bedroom townhouse that is 1200 sq ft. I plan on cutting that in half. I want a smaller place- there is so much unused room here. Above is a picture of 350 sq ft apartment in New York that I saw on Apartment Therapy. Everything in the apartment needs to serve the space well.

 High ceilings and large windows help in small spaces- a corner unit is a good idea.

I love that there are separate sections in one room- kitchen, living rm, office, and bedroom. I need a one bedroom place though- I don't want my bed in the main room no matter how cute I can make it.

Love it! I used to just work all the time (uh, still do) and my ex-boss used to ask me, "When are you going to take a vacation?" and I used to say, "Everyday is a vacation!"(that's the poor mans' holiday.) Love the bedroom getaway! That apartment with the outdoor pool is taunting me.
